Going to New Mexico for the weekend.

Any gun laws you guys can let me know about. Can I take my handguns over there. I will be driving over there. Thanks for any info. It is not really crucial that I take my handgun, just want to know what the deal is. Thank you guys in advance.

Be careful driving there, more like Mexico than you think.
The first few seconds of a red light don't seem to count, so look both ways when you start on a green.

Try to avoid the border patrol checkpoint on the 10.

Thanks for the info guys. Just got back a few days ago. Unfortunately on the way there I got stuck in the middle of a snow storm. Had my car spin on the freeway, nearly hitting a big rig. Spent the night at a truck stop 60 miles before my destination. Woke up and took me 2.5 hours to drive 60 miles. Fortunately I made it safely, had fun and finally back. Thanks guys.
