    Free State Gun Shows

Are free state gun shows better than CA ones? Besides nfa items and things that we couldn't buy in CA anyway; do free state gun shows have a better selection of guns, gear, accessories, etc?

I went to the Roseville gun show today and it was a waste of time. They had barely any firearms, most being c&r, and any gear/accessories that were there were cheap Chinese crap. The Cal Expo gun show was essentially the same way but bigger. The ammo prices weren't even that good...

The Reno gun show is coming up in April and I'd like to check it out but if it's going to be the same as our gun shows (cowboy crap, Chinese knockoffs, cheap knives, etc) I won't waste my time.

Cowboy crap? What does that mean?

Go to The Big Reno Show. It's two ballrooms of firearms, accessories and ammo!

The Big Reno Gun Show is big. Really big. You just won't believe how vastly, hugely, mindbogglingly big it is. It's seriously big.

The whole Roseville gun show could fit on just one half of one table at the Big Reno Gun Show.

There are vendors from a thousand miles away. You'll need optics to see across just one of the rooms. They have stage coach robbery reenactments with authentic period firearms every afternoon in the center aisle. It's like Disneyland on the Fourth of July.

You should get a room at the Grand Sierra cause you can't see this show in one day. Special discount Gun Show room rate only $69 + Tax + Fee + another Tax = $90 something but they are nice rooms.

Your local Reno gun show has hundreds of tables with something for everyone. Book your tickets online and get ready to shop at the next Big Reno Show.

Some of the vendors don't much like Californians so leave your "I (Heart) SF" T-Shirt at home. There have been credible reports of the CA DOJ undercover agents staking out the show and arresting Californians for 30 round magazines as they cross the state line on I-80.

          It's a pretty big show.

Not much different here in GA except for the occasionally class 3 guys. Funny thing is there was more Black rifles stuff and AK stuff for sale in CA shows than at GA shows.

One nice thing is person to person sales are cash and carry and no FFL required.

I'd like to know the same thing, since I have been shooting cowboy action for close to 14 years there might be some cowboy firearms that I might be looking for there.

OP would you care to elaborate.

They had a bunch of like cowboy period correct kind of stuff. Things like leather bandolier style belts with holsters for revolvers, hats, boots, etc. Stuff I have no use for...
