Mom's first time shooting

took my mom shooting for the first time this past Friday, we went to the santee discount gun mart here in san diego. taught her how to shoot my beretta 92fs and my mp15-22. shes 48 and has never shot before.

i took a video of her shooting her 4th ever magazine through my 92 shooting at 15 ft....... well lets just say i was amazed and proud of her!!!!! shes a natural!!! a 8 shot 2inch group and 2 strays!! and having me as an awesome teacher helped her too

and dont mind me nerding out at the end of the video!lol!

I took my mom to the range once. She left before I could even teach her how to hold the gun. The sound of BANG, BANG made her to nervous.

Her first 3mags she shot with my dad. My dad is serving his 29th year in the military, 20 as an army ranger and 9 in the air national gaurd. He has all the knowledge and skills to shoot but he can't teach very well, so when she got frustrated with him she came to me and I broke down the basics, slow smooth trigger squeeze, stiff wrists, slight bent knees, slightly lean into the gun etc. 10min of instruction with me and then she shoots like a champ!

Good job mom! Husbands are typically the worst choice to teach their wife to shoot. Too much personal dynamics to take instruction properly.
