About an hour of heavy sanding.
I sprayed Urethane all over & rubbed it into the wood & then sprayed a coat.

Tack cloth every time.
Piper likes the heater the best.
Saturday morning, 220 sand, blow off, tack, rub in first coat, pray, & paint.

The whole process should take 2 or 3 days but it took 6 days because of the cold weather.
Finished product.
All in all I’m very pleased. Now I realize that the metal needs work…well maybe in the next 25 years or so.My worst day shooting is better than my best day at work.

What was the last spray you put on it? Tung Oil would have been really nice too instead of a spray....Comment

Actually I only started collecting Milsurps 3 years ago. I think I might own about 24...They're cheaper than guns that will most likely never get the opportunity to kill somebody...
I belong to the group that uses firearms, and knows which bathroom to use.
