    Mild Beeotch - Midway USA

    I ordered a trigger spring kit for my new AR15 - $10 - couldn't be happier.

They shipped the order the next day - great so far.

Turns out, unless you pay for express shipping, they say you have to allow 2 weeks for regular (1st Class) mail. WTF?

C'mon guys. 99% of the time, a letter will get coast to coast in 3 days (or less). If it works the way you say, tell people when they order.

I didn't sweat it because I ordered it the same day I started the 11-day CA waiting period. Who'da thunk that an in-stock item might not show up before the waiting period was over?

I know, I know. I should have paid closer attention when I was ordering and in future I will shell out extra for express/trackable shipping if I care how long an item will take ( I usually DO care - at least to some degree).

Anyway - hoping this info helps save someone else some heartburn.

i wouldnt worry about it. Ive ordered regular shipping for tiny springs and such and it comes in a timely fashion (less than a week). I love dealing with midway. it'll work out.

My last order tracking info from Midway said shipped 12/12/11 and tracking it was scheduled for deliver on 12/19/11. I received it 12/15/11. Let us know how it goes.

I think they say to allow the extra time knowing how azzed up the USPS is. And it's worth noting that the USPS recently announced, along with another postage increase, that next day delivery in state of first class mail is as dead as the dodo.

They say 2 weeks to CYA in case the Post office is slow. Usually no more than a week to get stuff from them.

they are pretty fast. i wouldnt worry about there eta, its always longer than actual shipping time. however in the future, order more items at once so that you can use a coupon code. it helps to offset the high shipping and handling cost.

Welcome to the AR club. There is LCG Ar Parts, and Sac black Rifle here in town and you should look there before you pay to ship.
Luis at LCG has damn near everything you could want; at great prices.
Now that you got the springs, (yellows im guessing)A little polishing on the trigger will amaze you.

MidwayUSA absolutely rocks in my book. I am constantly amazed at how quickly they ship, regardless of order size, weight, etc. I can order on a Monday and I usually have my goods by or before Friday. Their customer server is also first class. Of all my orders, I think they've only gotten things a bit off twice and went out of their way to make it right. I wish local shops treated me with the same level of attention.

I ordered a pair of mags for a DP51 and it took 3 weeks to show up. I wasn't in a rush, so I wasn't upset, just surprised that it took so long. When I ordered some knick-knack stuff from Brownell's, it was much much faster (3 days).

Just ordered some of the bulk Lake City brass in .223 that they advertised via email. Shipped on the 12th and scheduled for delivery on the 19th, but actually delivered the morning of the 16th. Was very pleased as all was 2011 production.

just so you know, if its USPS first class mail, its typically a 1-3 business day delivery timeframe

Thanks all. My order supposedly shipped 6 days ago. Nothing yet.

I wished I HAD thought to just pick up the springs from SBR - that's where my new AR is in "jail"
