Which reminds me of a joke.
An old lady gets pulled over for speeding. When the cop gets to the window, she tells him that she's licensed to carry a gun & that she is doing so now.
He asks, "What kind of gun is it?"
She replies, "I've got a .45 under my coat, a 12 ga. in the trunk, & a .38 snubbie in the glovebox."
"What are you afraid of?," asks the cop.
"Not a damn thing!" is the lady's reply.
While this is a joke, its also true. Freedom from fear doesn't come from believing no one else has the means of causing you harm. Freedom from fear comes from knowing you have the means to prevent harm coming your way.
