If I understand correctly Gov Brown has signed legislation that allows the CA govt to raid the the DROS fees money which goes into a fund that pays for background checks.
Is there any audit of this fund?
Is there any reason why the cost of doing a background check would be significantly different in CA or AZ or NY?
If it's determined that there's a surplus in fees collected, are CA gun owners able to launch a class action suit against the state for recovery of excess funds?
If we can audit, and if we can sue the govt for taking too much money, can we overturn that law he signed?
