This. One of the reasons I rarely go to The Gun Room is I can't practice the skills I need to practice.

Just the fact that this will be closer for half of Sacramentans will hit The Gun Room hard. If they also have reasonable rules for practicing the skills people need to practice, especially now that LTCs are available, TGR might need to re-evaluate some of their policys in order to stay in business. For me the distance will be about the same.

Put the address from the County Zoning document posted above into Google Maps. Looks like if you stand square in the middle of the old Levitz parking lot facing Levitz this new range would be directly to your Left (South). Levitz's would be about six times bigger than this building.

This is just North of I-80 and Watt. Behind the 76 gas station.

Dont hold your breath. . . rumor has it, its being built by the same folks that own the Gun Room. More than likely, same rules will apply.

I miss the indoor range in Idaho low temps snow o wait it don't get cold or snow in Sacto. will also miss surpressor's indoors but will be nice it's real close to Rio Linda Don

Ok, I know that building. Cyclegear had the northeast corner of it several years ago, before they moved to the first location on Madison.

Rode by it tonight and the sign was lit up and it's directly behind the 76 station.

The Gun Range has been approved by the Sacramento Upp board. It will be opening soon
