Target shooting in Lassen National Park?

Hey I was just wondering if anyone knew if it was legal to just go target shooting up there? I'm heading up with a group to going up there today and just wanted to make sure it was all legal. Did a quick google search and didn't really come up with much and I could swear I head that National parks weren't allowed but I hope I'm wrong.

This is also near the High lakes area like morris lake.

You can shoot in National Forest, not in National Park.

if it was past the area where you paid, then you were in the park.

          It's a National Park:

Lassen Volcanic National Park is home to steaming fumaroles, meadows freckled with wildflowers, clear mountain lakes, and numerous volcanoes. Jagged peaks tell the story of its eruptive past while hot water continues to shape the land.

well the map I looked at says lassen national forest. The park is north on hwy 89, were going to be farther south. East of hwy 32 up kinda in the Jonesville area.
