The new one comes with 2 pull-out pistol rugs included. Did yours not come with one at all? Did you get the "competition" or the compact?

Damn, you take a lot of stuff Mine has the pair of matching pistol rugs. Pretty spacious and the innards are nice n' soft. I might make a trade/sell thread this week for my competition bag so I can get the compact model .

+1 for the smaller range bag. Perfect for a trip to the indoor range. I did notice the velcro started fraying the handles, so I just closed the velcro on each handle against itself. With regards to locking, I just use rugs in the side pocket and put a padlock through both zipper pulls.

I have the OD Green version and it is a very good bag. I hate expensive shipping charges as much as the next guy but it comes in a pretty big box, hence costs more I guess...

I second the bag. I have the compact, and wish I'd had it a long time ago. I can head to any range, with the Midway bag and a backpack, a prepared sportsman.

When it comes to Midway ordering, I usually wait untill I have more than a few items to buy. It helps with shipping. I can say, however, I've never received a broken product from them. Nor, has an item been lost in transit. They're customer service is pretty awesome, as well.

Well it was dumb of me hesitating to order the compact bag as the olive drab is out of stock and it's definitely my favorite color. I find it silly that the bag functions exactly the same in black as it does in OD but I'm most likely waiting until Feb. to have the bag come back in stock =/ The black one is still in stock and ready to ship on Monday or Tuesday + I would save on shipping two pistol rugs to go a long with it. Unfortunately, I have a matching rifle case and I just like that I can set my bag on the ground in an outdoor range and it doesn't look dirty Really dumb!

Very nice. I have the Midway USA Compact version of their range bag. I love it. Got it when they had a sale for $19.99

I bought one on black friday too. Along with a sniper drag bag, a few pistol cases, etc. I was able to get over shipping for most stuff. When you look at the size of the boxes they're shipping, I don't feel that bad about it.

Agreed that this bag is awesome. Not only does it come with the additional inner bag as mentioned, but two removable pistol cases. They are a simple "pouch" so I removed them and put them to use padding my iPad and Macbook Air.. and replaced them with the nicer pistol bags I bought from Midway. They are a perfect fit.

Definitely worth the money, if you want a *serious* range bag.

I'd just backorder it and wait. They usually come in sooner than later anyway.

I backordered and just figured if I changed my mind, I could cancel and just order the black one. Hope they get them in fast! Still a shame it'll be $7 more with separate shipping
