You need to check the county code for your county. They vary quite a bit in terms of how far you need to be from someone else's house, the hours you can shoot, etc. I'm less than a half-mile outside the town limits and I can shoot in my front yard. That may not be the case elsewhere.
Also, shooting TV's is generally frowned upon on public lands, but on private land it's entirely up to the landowner.Comment
