    Springfiled Armory Customer Service

    I would like to give SA a shout out for thier exceptional customer service. I called them up to report the compensator on my M1A was loose, and after attempting to tighten it, and checking the alignment with thier gauge, it was not fitting properly. They told me to ship them the gun and they would repair it. They sent me a pre-paid shipping label, instructions and a letter of what would happen. I also mentioned my 3rd gen scope mount wouldn't stay tight.

    I got the rifle back in one week. The comp was tight and lined up right, and they REPLACED my 3rd gen scope mount with a NEW 4TH GEN mount. Oh, and all of this was done for NO CHARGE !

    I was very suprised and happy with the whole experience.

    I hope you write/email them a response (with names if you have some) about the superior service. They like to know about that kind of stuff.

      Springfield Armory does in fact have the best Customer Service, hands down, bar none.

        Springfield are good folks and worth doing business with. I have had similar examples of great customer service with them.

            Springfield Armory service is the best. I sent a Kimber and Springfield back for repair at the same time and the Springfield was back in my hands with a throat and polish job on the house. The Kimber service folks called me 2 days before I got the Springfield back to tell me that I had to pay for the repair.

                  Sorry. Total newb here. I'd like to send in my 1911 to Springfield for some custom work...Do you guys typically walk down over to fedex/ups/usps box it up and ship it with the custom work sheet? Or are there specific instructions to follow and forms to fill out that I don't know about?!

                    I've been meaning to post about this. My new SA 1911 had the thumb safety fall out, before I had even fired it. I contacted them and sent it in on Nov 17th. I recieved it back repaired on Dec 5th. great service.

                        It's great that they have good service and stand behind their products......but with as much warranty issues as I hear folks have with the M1As.......wouldn't it be better to for Springfield to figure out whats up with their QC so they quit sending crap out to the customers in the first place?
