Anyone know the laws of shooting from a boat? How about in the ocean? How far out before international waters and/or shooting is okay?

I would check with the Coast Guard for your question to be sure.

Shooting from a boat is tricky. In the Navy on a Fast Frigate there were times when the boat rolled while people were shooting. It is not that safe. Fun yes but not safe.

I have seen a few people shoot trap off there boats near catalina in safe direction of course. Is this legal to do?Comment
