(stupid question I suppose, most males in this country actually believe but wont admit it, try teaching your friends to shoot and you will see what I mean)

Need I mention the numerous reports that show statistically lots of our own guys damn near fight that way?

Combat is ugly and unpredictable, when bullets start flying over your head you might be surprised at all the stuff you immediately forget.

I dunno. They might not have stringent training standards, but not all of them are incompetent. Remember, some of these same guys chased the Russians out long before we came through.

I watched a video of an ambush on one of our convoys (training video for us), and you know what stuck out at me? The guy on their machine gun was doing precise controlled bursts.

a friend of mine who worked a lot as a PMC told me the guys you see just spraying aimlessly a lot are typically hired fighters who are picking up a gun just to make a few meager dollars for their family. He claims that they believe that if they are not aiming, but kill someone anyway, then it is God's will and not by their own hand.

Oh I have no doubt it's all over the world but it's always the Taliban videos for an example always post videos and it's horrid lol they seem more frequent but I have seen horrible shooters in the states.

The video that made me chuckle is the guy who invented the corner shot shoot like an HK and has no gun controls and they list him as an expert I was like if that's how our supposed to shoot in their military Im surprised. It seriously looked like he had never shot a rifle before.

I'm pretty sure that given the relatively easy access to guns in America, it probably counts the highest number per capita of civilians shooting guns like idiots.

Now if you're talking military, there are plenty of highly trained professionals everywhere in the world. Nothing funny about watching the Brits, the Canadians, the Indians, the Finns, the Chinese or the Russians shooting guns.

As for insurgents... I wish they were all incompetent. Maybe then we wouldn't have lost thousands of soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan. I doubt the troops in Kabul find it hilarious when some guy is shooting at them.
