Since CommieFornia is limited to ten rounds in a magazine, what is to prevent some enterprising yout' from creating a 10/20 magazine?
Take two of your magazines, each holding ten rounds. Attach them bottom-to-bottom so that when you fire your ten rounds and eject the magazine, you can flip it over either forward, backward, or to either side (whichever is most comfortable) and re-insert it to fire the ten rounds loaded into the other end!
This sounds like something that could work. After all, you would only be able to fire TEN rounds before you'd have to eject the magazine. Flipping it over and re-inserting it is not really different than dropping the mag and inserting another one, IS IT? CommieFornia couldn't say your gun was able to fire more than TEN rounds without ejecting the magazine.
I don't have to worry about that here in Free America. I bought lots of 30-round magazines for my Glocks, just for fun. But I DO believe that either gluing, or riveting the base plates of two magazines together and assembling two magazine bodies onto that part would legally constitute TWO ten-round magazines.
Yes, it would be awkward to have a second mag sticking out of the bottom of your weapon, but think about the possibilities with the AR-15! 20 rounds with a simple flip of a magazine!
Would you drop it and flip it forward "S" style, or would you have both magazines facing forward and flip it sideways 'C' style?
