    Walther PPS

I just read Rich Grassi's review of the Walther PPS 9mm in "Combat Handguns" February issue. I've been looking at this pistol for a while and like it a lot. I've had to send a little Kahr MK9 back to the factory for cracks in the barrel shroud on the slide for the second time. I'm beginning to conclude Kahr designs their pistols for "emergencies" only. I like to practice a lot with a pistol I might have to depend on. Time for a change. Walther is close to producing the PPS in .40S&W, which would be my final choice IF IT GETS CERTIFIED FOR SALE IN CALIFORNIA! None of the reviews I've read list a mag disconnect, but it has a lot of safety features. Anybody have any ideas on how to petition Walther USA and Smith&Wesson (The Distributor) to get the PPS models CA approved?
