AGP Arms Take Down 10/22 Kit

Has anyone bought this takedown kit for the Ruger 10/22. I am thinking about buying one. It should make the 10/22 an even better survival rifle for portability and concealment in a backpack.

C.S. Lewis once observed, "Once we allow people to start spiritualizing and refining, or as they might say 'deepening' the sense of the word Christian...it will become a useless word....It is not for us to say who, in the deepest sense, is or is not close to the spirit of Christ. We do not see into men's hearts. We cannot judge...It would be wicked arrogance for us to say that any man is, or is not, a Christian."

Looks cool. Is it 26" overall length with the stock folded?

It's got to be. Standard 10/22 barrel is 18" (though 16" is available), and that stock itself can't be less than 10" or else it would be very uncomfortable to shoot. I don't see how it wouldn't be 26" long with at least the 18" barrel installed.

Laws that forbid the carrying of arms...disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes...Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man.

Sorry for bringing up an old thread but can anyone confirm the overall length with the stock folded on this kit? I can't find it anywhere

          hope this helps.

With the barrel removed, the folded stock/receiver assembly is very compact at about 11" long

nice but I prefer my feather take down for a 22 caliber rifle for the back country. Assembles quickly and I am not modifying another product to get it. They are out of colorado and it folds up quickly. i am not putting this product down especially if under the current rules you can still bring it into California. I am not sure Feather products are allowed in anymore.
