    Can you identify this??

Found this at the range couple weeks ago while I was picking up my brass and thought it was interesting. Does anybody have any idea what it is? I suspect it may be the floor plate to some magazine but for all I know it is not even related to a gun at all
It measures 2 1/2" long and just under 1 1/2" at its widest point.

Its rusted peice of metal! hahah
Looks like a magazine base plate. Hmm any stamping or something on it? Try cleaning it with some WD40 or whatever!
      Good luck!

I have been soaking it in rust release for the last 5 hours. It is so deeply pitted that if there was any marking it is long gone.

Is it the metal tool from Surefire that you use to remove the forearm stocks form Remington 870's and install the tac light forearms?

If it's about 1&1/2in wide and 2&1/2in long, it's a wrench for installing furniture on a pump action shotgun.

                Edit!
just re-read the post under the picture. It's a wrench for installing furniture
