Depends on the user . . . . I drug the bore snake for my .308 through my 7mm rem mag because that's all I had handy. I had to pull pretty hard but it worked fine.

What are you trying to do??

I am wondering if it can use it in my 9mm and .38 , or should I just spend the money on 1k patches and be set

well, you'll be able to "use" it in your 9mm and .38, but the question is, will it do what you want?

.22 is 5.56mm, or only about 60% as wide as a 9mm. I suspect that the boresnake will not really do the job.

Why not just get a 9mm boresnake?
