AK Build Party

Hey there guys and gals,

i was wondering if there is an AK build party for SoCal sresidents... I'm trying to figure out what parts to buy and and which brand/type of AK is strong and reliable.

Is there a Southern Cali build party? i saw the NorCal thread but no SoCal

could someone advise me as to which AK parts kit is not too expensive (max $400) and is a good, heavy, reliable one?

Are there kits that come with the flats? I'm basically wanting to build an AK but I have no experience whatsoever (lol) in building one but i really want to learn how...

Yeah, actually they do have one in the LA area, San Diego area and one in the Inland empire. They're super common in the gunsmithing section, check it out!

I believe the hosts & other helpers will have that experience for you. I've never gone to one and I guess I'm too lazy to go to one and would rather buy a built one but they'll walk you through everything. I see beginners make great stuff that functions great for them.

ill look into contacting him, but also i found out that not only can i build my own but i can also convert a saiga into an "ak"

which do you think is better to do? for a beginner that is...
