    San Jose gun show

Going to the San Jose gun show this Sat. What can I expect? Any good ammo deals? Any other good deals? Anyone else going? Don't know if it's worth paying parking and entrance fee.

They usually have some good deals on ammo if you buy in bulk. A lot tables with plenty of accessories for AKs, ARs, and SKSs. You can also find magazines and spare parts for a variety of different guns. If you haven't been before, it would be good to check it you are looking for accessories.

This is a small show. IIRC Miwall doesn't attend. The two main shows I attend in the bay area are Cow Palace and Vallejo.

Yeah, I've been to the Cow Palace, pretty good size, but I don't want to waste too much gas going up there. I'll just go this Sat. and report back.

even a small show, if loaded with good sellers/merchandise... can be an exciting treasure hunt. i occasionally go to the Glendale so cal show, and usually just find some good deals on ammo. the money i save on the small amount of ammo i buy is eaten up in transportation/entry expenses.

i still like to occasionally go to a show, and enjoy going through the older/obsolete, factory time period accessories for guns that i own; when i can find them. many of these hard to find things can be found on online auctions... but for me, it's still fun to find a treasure at a gun show. you never know what you might find.

I go when I can. Small show but very good. I haven't seen any beef jerky, despite what calgunners tell me! Bullets and Brass is a must-stop booth.

It's small but I usually go... It's a gun show. Ammo prices are usually decent. Even if im not lookin for anything I always walk out with something...

As for Parkin and admission, I chalk that up to an entertainment expense! Lol!

Well the price depends on the brand and if you are buying factory new or reloads. But the price range is usually around $200-$250 for a case, from what I remember.
