Does anyone know where I can find an unedited version of Vickers DD commercial that caused so much butthurt at arf.com. I can only find the edited versions. Don't tell me its been wiped off the internet forever, that would be a shame.

After a conversation with a friend, he told me he never saw it and I wanted to send him a link.

Thanks. I saw that link but for wahtever some reason I thought that was the edited version. I must have missed it I blame it on the fact its Monday. My buddy will get quite a laugh.

On a side note, the LAV carbine video that he was talking about, has that come out yet? I hadn't seen anything for it, but then I also hadn't really looked for it.

I wouldn't mind watching it just to see what he does, say in comparison to the Magpul carbine vids I've seen (not to compare the 2 groups on skills & such, but just watching as entertainment to see how both productions did with their videos).

I thought his video was kind of boring compared to the MagPul videos. Some good solid meat-n-potatoes stuff in there but not as entertaining.

What people got butt hurt over is out of the SEVERAL thousand Military combat vets, very few of us stay in the firearms industry. I know a Delta Force Operator who teaches 3rd grade. I met a SEAL who at the time I met him was a custom mason worker. Did outstanding custom fire pits too. Both of these guys were real deal and would argue with LAV on several points.

Its when someone says..."Well I am XXXX and I am a big Internet star, therefore I am right"...means you should ignore them.

Don't buy a car because its "ToyotaThon" and that means it must be good... buy it for the reason its good.

You don't need famous to sell good. You don't need glitz, glamor and flash to be correct.

In the end its just alpha dog talk and no one really cares...atleast no one who is secure in their knowledge or ability cares.

Don't they get $$ from military contracts?

Seems like there are several mfg's who get a lot of $$ from contracts that don't really care about coddling their civilian base (KAC, H&K, etc)
