Big5 NEBO tac light / laser combo?

So I was in Big5 today and a saw a gun light on sale for under 50$. It was a NEBO Protec elite HP 190 ls. It felt heavy-duty and seemed to be built sturdy, aircraft grade anodized aluminum and only a few plastic parts. It has a LED to generate 190 lumens of blinding white light with a strobe and a 5-milliwatt, 650 nanometer laser sight, located below the light. It uses One CR123A battery thats for the light and three AG5 Button Cell Batteries, and they all come with the unit. So needless to say from 100$ to a sale price of 47$ I had to buy one. Anyone else have one, thoughts on it.

fire a round, lets see if it survives.

I've been seeing them fall apart on airsoft guns.

Spend the $100 on a Streamlight TLR-1. Proven and a great value for a quality light.

The Surefire is good, just very expensive in comparison.

Truthfully, I'd prefer a gunlight to be limited to around 60 lumens.

Doesn't take much to constrict pupils. Don't want to mess up my own night vision too much (constrict my own), and I don't need to light up the night. Would rather have a less powerful, more focused light with as little spillover as possible.

I prefer to search with a handheld, not the one mounted on the pistol.

I'm going to have to agree on the handheld when I'm clearing a room. If your a bad guy and you see a flashlight, your going to want to shoot at the light. There's pros and cons on both.

                    +1 ^^^

Seriously, though... I'd be interested to see how it held up after putting some rounds through the gun... I bought a red dot Barksa for my AR and that red dot was on target for maybe 2 shots... the rest of my shots were all over the place!!!

I have one of these on my Glock 22. Had it about 6 months now. Works great! Although the battery didn't last very long. I take a spare when we go camping for the weekend.

Yeah, I've found that surefire models don't really have the power of some other MUCH cheaper lights, but I'm sure they make up for it in durability. At least I hope so...

I got that NCstar one from Amazon for 21 dollars. It has survived over 1k rounds of 9mm. I only shot it with it on to test the durability. I have it on my nightstand XD.

I bought a NEBO at a gunshow 18 months ago. It's on my HD gun (Glock 35) and everytime I go to the range it is attached. It's great.
