Can anyone suggest a good AR dvd that has step by step to put together the LOWERS? A bunch of my friends want to go together and buy one.

If you have basic motor skills and can handle basic tools (hammer, pliers and a punch) you can build a lower. You don't need a video, unless you just want one.

Thanks, I had that page, but some people dont have access to the net (for what ever reason who knows these days!) and they wanted the DVD to watch in the garage while building! thanks for your help!

Well, I've heard others talk about the Bushmaster DVD without any negatives I can remember. Personally, I'd just print out that thread for them, then turn the radio on in the garage while you build them.

AGI has alot of their dvd's for sale online, and at lest two or three on the AR 15.

I only hope that the person in the AR videos done by AGI actually likes the platform. I bought the video that covered the M1A/Garand and he stated several times that "he doesn't care for it". It made an otherwise average video below par.

You could always print out the pages from arfcom so you have a hardcopy as well.

If you also want any printed material, the books sold from Fulton Armory are pretty good.

I picked up "AR-15 Technical Manual & Armorer's Course" on DVD for about $25. I had everything I needed when I combined the DVD with the build guide at ARFCOM.

A television and DVD player in the garage, but no Internet access.

Just print out the ARFCOM thread for them. Save the money you'd spend on a video for something more important, like parts.
