Only thing That has sparked an interest for me is the SP901 from Colt. Basically its an AR-10 that can accept any AR-15 upper. Best part is its supposedly going to be priced sub $2000.

Interesting. As I understand it, you would swap out the .308 upper for a .223/5.56 upper and the lower will accommodate AR-15 magazines? If so that would be very very cool.

That is the idea yea. It uses some kinda adapter to make it happen from what I understand. Also found a video if anybody is curious.
