A Calguns shoot/dinner?

Forgive me if this has already been done....

I was thinking that it would be great fun to have a CalGuns shoot, perhaps followed by a dinner. I've seen posts where small groups of CalGunners will meet at various ranges, but I am thinking more along the lines of something a little more ambitious...and perhaps advertised a few weeks beforehand.

Obviously Cali is a big state...so we can't really make it geographically feasible for all. As I am in NorCal I am thinking of a Bay Area location.

It would be nice to meet fellow gun enthusists, people could bring some of their less common firearms and we could all oogle them, and following a few hours of shooting we could adjourn to nice dinner....either at a restaurant or cook-out if someone has a centrally located place and is willing to host.

Probably won't get any better turn out of Nor Cal shooters unless you plan on handing out boxes of free ammo or something at some other venue.

I've met several other Calgunners by attending the Shoot'n'Qs that are held at Chabot every so often.

The Shoot N Q sounds like a blast! Unfortunately, that's the day, the wife drags me out of bed at some ungodly hour to wait in line to at some store to empty our bank account...
I'd be interested in a shoot and dinner.
