I'm sure he could make more money on his own.

it's weird... kind of makes me wonder what is happening to magpul.
I like their gear, it seams like everything they make is quality stuff with a purpose
you don't rise to the occasion,
you just fall back on your level of training.

I don't think it has anything to do with Magpul and everything to do with Chris realizing he can be his own boss and have his own company.

              This is the only reason.

He was very concerned that people might think this had somthing negative to do with Magpul. it does not.

Who does not want to be your own boss? Oh yeah, and the chance to take the risk and make the dollars.

I will be honest, Travis was the true trainer, Costa was all about a big show and using the latest self created term in order to boost himself. I have met and held conversations with both men and Travis Haleys calm confidence speaks volumes to his abilities and experience where Costas flamboyant speech and persona had the outward appearance of a lack of experience. Now I am only commenting on my personal observations (others mileage may vary). He may have been a face for the company but his background is not that impressive.

I am sure he will make more money on his own and I am sure magpul will do just fine without him; the market is flooded with trainers they can put in his place.

I bet something bad is happening at Magpul. Despite what they're saying. ..

I know why Chris is leaving - what i meant was that I am not sure about Magpul's future without Travis, Chris and half the stockholders... just curious about the direction they will now go. I know Chris didn't just jump ship

Costa Ludus has a website up, but it's just a logo.
