    WHERE TO ORDER MARLIN 1894CSS

I want to purchase the Marlin 1894 CSS 357 lever action and want to know if choosing a particuliar dealer over another increases my chances of getting the rifle sooner than later? SoCal.

Hi Frank...welcome to Cal Guns...A neat bunch of people here.

I think you're going to have a hard time even finding an 1894CSS at any price. Last time I heard the waiting list was more than a year long. It seems some dealers do get them in (out of State) but here in Southern California, you're gonna pay a higher price if you can even find one.

They go for $700 and up.

I have a couple of Blue Steel Marlin 1894s in .357 magnum....I shoot one and save the other...lots of fun shooting .357 with my kids.

    Be well, Bob

Fewer people are killed with all rifles each year (323 in 2011) than with shotguns (356), hammers and clubs (496), and hands and feet (728).

I gave up waiting and bought the Rossi; plus I wanted a longer barrel and they made that for the Rossi (24 inch). I love it....about $500 OTD maybe a little more - got it last year.
