    2,800, 2,800, 2,800, and 3,000

Holy Cow batman, those are the price's on the HK 416 (Civilian), the SCAR L, and the LMT MWS 308, along with the LaRue OBR.

I can only by 1, but Mama's going to be very mad at me for spending that much on a rifle.

I really didn't find anything exciting about the 416, other than it may be collectable one day?

The same thing for the SCAR 16

I liked the LMT, Because I need another 308

But since the LMT is almost the same price, I'm thinking LaRue OBR.

I don't really need these rifles but they will add to my collection, I wish the price's where lower tho. My head is spinning.

It costs much more time and energy to laser engrave "LMT" on the side, and shipping cost increases with the weight of god-like powers bestowed upon them...
"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself...A murderer is less to fear. The traitor is the plague."......Cicero

Yeap, I think they added about a $1000 dollars to each rifle.

Oh how I miss the old days!

I seen some of the YouTube videos of the LMT 308 in service. Handled one yesterday, and it sure does look nicely made.

What barrel are you looking at on the LMT? My LMT with the 16" CL barrel was $2100 not $2800. By the way, the LMT was a great surprise to me, it is a fantastic rifle!!

MBR had the 16" model, listed at 2,800. I thought I saw it lower than that, but I guess they raised up the price.

I also checked RG, and they listed the 16" at 25 ish, and the 18" model for a few hundred more.

So If I was to get a LMT ~ I probably would get the 16" barrel, because there really is not that much difference between 16 vs 18".

I also only plan to shoot these rifles inside of 800 yrds.

If I was to get a LaRue OBR, RG has them all at the same price. So I would get an 18" maybe a 20. I would have to see which one balance's better for me (offhand).

Either way, These rifles are made so well, you have a lot of choice's. I already have enough (can I say that?) 5.56 rifles, so 308 is looking better all the time.

                    Thank you
