Best scope for 10/22?

So I need a new scope for my Ruger. I would like adjustable power from 3x-7x or 9x. Also my price limit is around $75. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Check out Weaver rimfire scopes. Some good quality .22 options there.

In that price range, you might consider a Nikon Prostaff Rimfire 4x32. For a little more, you might consider a Nikon Prostaff 3-9x40. (Pricing assumes you look for sales. Rings extra.)

IIRC, I have a Bushnell scope on my 1022. Its 3 x 9 x 40, and I could easily see the bullet holes at 25 yards. I got it as a gift, but I want to say its about 65-70 bucks at Wal Mart. The only thing I don't like about it, is it's not a mil dot scope. Other then that, I scored Sharp Shooter with it at an Appleseed shoot a few weeks back.

Very very accurate scope for the money and never miss a target at all.

If I want to mount thus on an S&W M&P 15-22... what else will I need...links would help too.

I've always wanted to mount a scooe on it, but don't know where to start.
