Dear Calgunners:
As we do a fair number of your PPTs in the Southern California area, we wanted to give you a heads-up on the issue of PPTs and Project ChildSafe locks.
On the advice from the CA DoJ, for those wishing to use a Project ChildSafe lock, we shall require a dated receipt from the issuing law enforcement agency, that shows the lock was acquired within 30 days from the release of the firearm.
I have attached an email of the conversation with CA DoJ.
Thank you, we'll keep you posted on any updates in this matter.
