I know the feeling as I just got my first handgun and have no experience with handguns whatsoever

that glock .45 at seven yards looks pretty good, way better than what I get. Im sure some calgunners will chip in with some tips after looking at your silhouettes.

only way you'll get better is by shooting more

Thanks, and yes Im sure I will get some pointers. I know for some reason at 15 yards im pulling left as im a right handed shooter. More practice more practice

        Its just practicing
        I bought a 22 for it
Wife and I put about 2k rounds thru it
Now with her 9mm and larger calibers she's almost always having awesome groupings
        Same for me
        Practice makes perfect!!!

If that target was a person, I'm sure they wouldn't be too happy!

For a first time you did fine.

Just practice your technique and of course. More time on the range.

I would say work on your sight picture, maybe a red sticker in the center or switch to a bullseye target. The other thing is your grip. You may want to tighter it up some. You do not want a death grip but the 45 is a tighter group then the 9, makes me think you had a tighter grip on the 45.

The internet is like a 12 step group. Take what you need and leave the rest.

Very possible. Thanks for the input I will give it a try and see if I do grip them different. The only real big difference I saw yesterday that I felt anyway was the triggers are SO different. Maybe switching back and forth was a bad idea

Thanks and yes addicting is an understatement. In the last 3 weeks I have bought 4 news items for the safe and not to mention buying the safe

Dont have pics but a nice fitting hogue wrap around grip sure helped me! I just couldnt get a comfortable grip on the gun before.

Dry fire, dry fire, and then dry fire some more. Some people don't realize how important this is, even if it's just 10-20 times a day.

Looks pretty good. Practice practice. Dry fire at home. Work on trigger control and not flinching/squeezing your hands. That's what it looks like to me at the 15 yds
