Single shot conversion for the Desert Eagle .50 AE?

Does anyone know of this being offered somewhere? Buddy of mine found a DE for sale online but realized he can't just go and buy it.

well, with a 6" barrel, OAL looks to be 10.6" per Magnum Research, so you shouldn't have to worry about meeting the dimensional requirements. you just need to come up with a zero-round SLED and a way to fix the SLED.

*edit* wait... The desert eagle in .44 is on the ca roster. Just get that and a .50 ae barrel and you're good to go.

that works if you want the one color version that MR has rostered, the brushed chrome version. If you want the Black Oxide version, or the pimped out Gold version, you have to go with a SSE since they aren't rostered.

They already make a long barrel for it. Just need the sled. To tell you the truth, you will RARELY ever shoot the 50 so you should just get the 44mag and buy the exra barrel later

I got my 50 ae Desert Eagle from PRK few months ago. Very nice guys to deal with. and cheaper than i expected.
