    Bullet Button tool legality question

Im never to proud to ask a stooopid question so follow me here....

I think the general consensus is that it is not kosher to have a BB attached to you rifle correct? Sooooo the Magpul MIAD grips have the little compartment inside for 2 or 4 spare bullets or dummy rounds.

If you store a few dummy rounds inside and use them as your BB tool, is this a no no?

In order to use the tool, you first have to remove the tool from the rifle, correct?

I am by no means an expert on this but, I think the main issue of "attaching" the tool to the BB equipped rifle is if the tool can be used while it is still attached to the rifle. If you were to hang a tool by a string, then it would be part of the rifle, and not a seperate tool.

If you haven't seen it with your own eyes,
or heard it with your own ears,
don't make it up with your small mind,
or spread it with your big mouth.

I'd say you are good to go as long as it's not also attached with a string or something. If you really wanted to get critical, you could say that all the rounds you have in your magazine are tools attached to your rifle. To access one of the tools, you just have to cycle your action to eject one of your tools.

I'm not a lawyer, it's just my opinion.

Ahhhh I see. You cant be able to use the tool while its attached to the rifle. And yes you would have to remove the grip base where the tools are stored to use it.

        Thanks for clarifying that guys.
