Of the safes you listed, i'd go with the AmSec BF series. I almost got one before i got my Sturdy on the CalGuns group buy.

Here's my post ref safes from September.

I purchased a Sturdy safe model # 3224 several months ago. Under $1,500 delivered. Couldn't be happier!

I've had a Fort Knox and a Cannon before the Sturdy. Both good safes but neither had the features for the price that Sturdy did. 7 gauge body, solid 5/16 steel door, S&G Group 2 combo box #6730 spin dial lock, etc. etc...100% made in USA parts & built by Americans.

Check out their vids on their website. http://www.sturdysafe.com/

      Love it!

      Good luck!

      P.S......They're in Fresno!

The AMSEC BF series safe is one of the best out there IMO and many safe experts as well. Two layers of steel with cement in between makes it tough to cut into and very fire resistant. Last time I checked the BF is US made as well. Great choice if you got the $$$ for it.
Don't know much about the other two. Have you checked out Ft Knox safes? Might be in the same price range. The Liberty President series is pretty awesome too.
I agree with you about Sturdy Safes. They are short on form but off-the-charts on function. I am very happy with my Sturdy 32x24x60 but if I could have afforded more I probably would have gone with an AMSEC BF series. Good luck to you.

We recently purchased our safe, and hopefully it will be here soon. I went for the Liberty Lincoln LX-25, after much searching and investigation this was our choice. We were looking at the Browning M28F, the AmSec BF series and of course the Rhino/Big Horn safes (Costco/Sam's). Although we were disappointed with the opening radius of the Liberty, it turned out to be the best bet and deal for us. It offered more amenities and the best protection for our limited funds. By the time it's shipped and installed, our total will be around $2400. The store we used was West Coast Safes in Ontario, CA (www.westcoastsafes.com) and we dealt with Brad and Steve. They really gave us the best customer service I've had in years. FYI, they've got a sale going on until October 31, 2011 for their products. I'd highly recommend them.

I've read good things about the Am Sec safes, And the Browning safes that I've seen are super nice, especially the Gold series. In your price range I think the ones you have listed are all pretty nice, Browning probably look the nicest inside and out, and their door organizer is pretty cool too.
Not sure where your located but Barnwood Arms in Ripon has a bunch of safes in stock to look at.

In my price range $2k I had to go with a Sun Welding, If I had $5k it'd be AmSec or Browning.
