    They are trying to design a new feed chute because the one they are using costs $1710.

            yup just got an email from Senator Deleon about how much of a menace to society this thing is and how he is going to introduce a bill to ban it for the sake of our children and police officers.

              The basic idea has been around since Vietnam if not earlier, ranging from ammo cans with feed chutes duct taped on and the like. However a few years ago Tyr tactical was approached by a few group guys to perfect the design, which they did, and revealed their design at some trade shows. A few months after said trade shows Natick went and did their own design, from the ground up, Thats what you see in those pics, not some creation of those NG troops.

              Now why Natick decided to make their own design instead of using an already designed and debugged version COTS like the team guy guys did, I don't know, politics maybe.
