Bring a handgun into California???

Hello to all

Just joined the forum and have a question already, I was looking at the DOJ page on bringing a Handgun into California, it states if your a new resident to CA you have 60 days to register the gun. I've lived here for several years now but left my guns with family out of state not knowing how long i'd be here, not planning to go anywhere soon, i'd like to go get my guns. All are California legal and registered to me, will I still be able to bring them in and register the guns the same as a new resident to the state? or are there other forms I need to fill out?

Yes, you will be able to file the forms and be entirely legal - the requirement is to register them when you bring the guns to CA, not when you bring you to CA.
