    Placerville gun show?

I saw on the Miwall web site that there is a gun show in Placerville this weekend, Oct. 27 & 28. Can anyone verify that a gun show is happening there this weekend? Also is it worth the drive?

    Thanks in advance,
    Keith

Yes there is one. At the Placerville fair grounds. This is a really small gun show. Maybe 20-30 tables max. Mostly just local people. Not worth driving any distance for. Heck, I rarely go and I only live 20 minutes from it.

Hmm... I could tell the GF that we can have a little trip to Apple Hill and walk around and then oops, look, there is a gunshow we can stop by.

The last time Miwall was there was maybe 5-6 years ago IIRC. They had 4 tables set up. Some of everything, but not a lot of anything.

This is a SMALL local show. The room is about 2-3 times the size of your average school classroom. At least parking is free. Admission is $7.

Prices on firearms are average, nothing to write home about, but sometimes you find something old that you'll really want, or something for an exceptional price. VERY LITTLE in the way of AR/AK related stuff. One of the safe companies is usually there (Hall's?). Some private collectors selling off stuff. Used reloading equipment. One guy with the rifle / pistol soft cases/holsters/bags.

If you're on the way to Apple Hill, Tahoe, or just out for a drive, you can see everything and be in and out in less than an hour - if you're taking your time.

Good to know. I shouldn't spend money anyway - I'm sleeping in.
