    Suggestions for "less than lethal" gun or ammo

    Now that OC is gonna be illegal, I just found out that taser guns concealed is legal as are "less than lethal" ammo.

    what would be the impact of carrying a concealed handgun loaded with rubber bullets?

    concealed handgun is still a concealed handgun regardless of ammo.
    So that's not an option.

      What lazyworm said. A gun is a gun. I'd get the Taser, but I would double check on if it's allowed to be carried concealed or not.

          I'm not sure how you've missed all of the threads about UOC...

          Go read the 2A forum.

          cheeple, that doesn't make a difference. Carrying a firearm is still carrying a firearm.

              Dude, I think I read it the same way you did.

              OC = Oleoresin Capsicum
              OC = Outside Carry

              I think they mean the latter. But I first read it as the pepper spray being outlawed. When I see OC in context as less than lethal I think pepper spray too.

                    Shotgun with bean bags or rubber bullets. Paintball gun with hopper full of pepper balls.

                      If you want a "less lethal" option in regards to firearm use, go with beanbag/rubber 12 gauge slugs for a shotgun. That would only practically work for HD use.

                      For public/personal protection, an X26 taser would be my choice.

                            'OC' as oleoresin capsicum is a bit of a magazine/clip thing.

                            Most people call it 'pepper spray'. The CA Penal Code calls it 'tear gas'.

                            For folks who hang out in the 2nd Amendment forum, 'OC' is usually 'Open Carry'.
