as an employee of a northern California liquor store, im glad that crooks are finally getting what they deserve! i'd say case closed, no need for people to get sued.

most people who run/work stores like that have several pieces stashed around in case they are pinned down by a gun wielding crook and the off chance another employee is near by they can grab it from the walk in and take care of business..
