Sacramento FFL that will do a FAL receiver transfer

Does anyone know of a good Sacramento area FFL that will handle a DSA or Imbel receiver transfer? Preferrably the Auburn/Rocklin area, but Sacramento will work just the same.

gunborker.com has a list of FFLs by area code. You can try there. If you don't mind a drive up towards Cool, JB firearms does FFL Xfers for around $25.

Call Newtown Firearms in Placerville and talk to Robert. They sell DSA FALs, and he's done transfers for me on a number of things. He'll probably do it. IIRC it was $25. 530-626-9945

Interesting thing is that he's less than a mile from my sister's place.

I've been to his place a number of times. Believe it or not, that's REALLY the name of the street. Someone had a lot of free reign when coming up with street names, in that neighborhood.

I don't think Robert is much of a Trekkie, but I can tell you the dude loves his guns and is VERY cool. :-)
