I think I got ripped off though, I paid $225 for it

Damn! I was just kidding! That's way sweet!

Was that price from 10 - 15 years ago?

I ended up going to the show today...saw some pretty good prices on bulk ammo but aside from that, it looked like grandpa's garage sale. There was a lot of second-hand stuff, some old C&R rifles, but no real smokin' deals.

Of course, the old Playboys (the top one featuring former WWF star Chyna in her post wrestling days) for a mere $2 was the best deal I saw all day!

Even though I've lived in Sacramento for almost 20 years now, I've never been to the show at Cal Expo. Whenever it comes around, I tell myself I'm going to go, but it never happens. Oh well, maybe next time.

Show was okay I like the one that is in 2 buildings best. A friend got a 1930 A5 12 ga C&C for $250 a good score. Not enough BP guys there to suit me I only got 50% of what I wanted.

The expo show used to be great in the 80's and early 90's. Several buildings packed with ammo, guns, and goodies. Last one I went abut 8 years ago was so small and boring I've not been back since.

Went to the show yesterday and there wasn't much to look at. Lots of AR stuff, but not to many handguns. I bought some ammo, looked around and left. 10 bucks to park and 10 buck to get in the door is pretty unreasonable.

Did someone say there's parking across the street for free? I know I could at least buy a handgun defense class voucher and lights for my future safe so now all would be a loss. I hope my cousin enjoys it, though..He's going and I dunno if he wants to buy any guns or what. Just don't want him to be disappointing in a sea of airsoft guns and jerky.

Kaiser Clinic and a shopping center across the street. Big parking lots.

I think the next CalExpo show is in January? Or in the Spring?
