    Quick AR question.

I'm looking to get an M&P15 Sport. 5.56

The description says "Fixed Mag" does this mean that the magazine is permanent, and you have to load each round through the top?

im looking for one with a bullet button.

    Thanks! (my first AR)

Typically, when a California retailer describes something as "fixed mag," it means bullet button.

Yup, it probably has a bullet button. They say "fixed mag" to show that it complies with the law. I'd call and just ask them if it has a bullet button.

What part of the state are you in? Give us a radius and I'm sure folks will pop up with what they have seen in stores.

make sure it's not a SEALED mag well.... then you'll really punch yourself in the face.

Sealed magwell means top load, which also means "laughing stock of the range"

I do not believe that S&W makes a toploader. You DO NOT want a top loader.

...and it's one of the best prices I've seen around for it too! I've only seen it cheaper at one place online, but then you've got shipping.

i guess it will have to wait.
