    WTK: Converted Saigas

What are converted Saigas going for? What should I expect to pay for a newly converted Saiga?

    Hard question.
It kinda depends on who did the conversion and how they did it.

Things like welding in the left over holes instead of using plugs And the finnish really matter. Not to mention the furniture they used.

      Convert yourself, super easy.

      Dont get ripped off.

The saigas go from 299-350, then parts go from 125-200.

I wouldnt pay more than 450-500 for a converted saiga.

As for Saiga 12's, just ridiculously priced.

Really depends on who did the conversion and how it compares with the benchmark, an Arsenal.

I know what to look for but for 85% of most people couldn't really tell which is which.

There are 3 kinds of people in this world.
The wise, learn from the mistakes of others.
The smart, learn from their own mistakes.
The others, well......they just never learn.

As far as converting Saigas goes, there's the quick and easy method, and then there's the proper way.

I converted these and I sure as hell wouldn't sell them for $500.

So what's the "proper way"? is it welding up the old holes??

Welding the holes, swapping the barrel parts, the trigger guard gets changed, feed ramp installed, rear sight leaf, and fitting whatever type of stock you want.
