Improving the trigger on an M&P

Anyone had the S&W Performance Center Sear installed?

Bowie or Burwell trigger job vs. factory stock vs. PC sear installed?

Would like to get an LX trigger by Bowie, but his lead times are running 1/2 a year.

PC turnaround is like 5 days. Just expensive for what you seem to be getting.

Have you looked at Apex Tactical's kits? Easy to install yourself and create a very good trigger.

Apex Tactical Specialties has the parts you want, and you can diy. You probably want their new Forward Setting Sear kit.

Get a Timney Trigger. They make drop in kits and you can get them for about $200 from www.midwayusa.com. That takes the guess work out of getting parts and pieces and having them installed. I put one on my rifle recently and couldn't be happier. Good luck.

When did Timney start making pistol triggers?

Get an Apex Tactical competition trigger and a RAM. You will be happy!

Stay away from trigger jobs. If you want a cheap solution look at Mega Arms. I did a review and it is in my signature just click the link. If you have the money get a Timney or Giselle.

                good luck

Nice biased post that has nothing to do with M&P handguns sport

Apex is also working on their own barrel for the M&P to change the timing. Supposed to really help with muzzle flip.

I have had Apex do work for me earlier this year and have no problem recommending them. Randy, Scott, and Lisa were all wonderful to work with. Scott is at the Hogue Action Pistol Range @ SLOSA for matches and they really support our community.

I should remind them that the blog is showing the 2nd shot of their barrel

My apologies I saw M&P and trigger job and assumed it was a S&W AR without reading entire post.

I have a PC 9mm with the factory trigger...
and it isn't even close to as good as my wife's two std. 40's with the Apex duty tune kits... not anywhere close....and no cigar for sure...

bought an Apex RAM kit and put it in my gun and the trigger is acceptable for a carry gun, better than factory std. for sure, but nothing like the wife's guns...
