Yes, if he had to trip the slide release it would slow down his time. But if you are a competitive shooter and have run your gun to slide lock, you already have committed an error. There was a video of Tomasie practicing his reload with his opn gun floating around on the net, it is ridiculous fast.If it was a snake, it would have bit me.

Certainly it helps speed things up. Also, in practical application, it's preferable never to have an empty gun when you're in a gunfight (unless you're out of ammo, that is).A revolution without dancing is a revolution not worth having.Comment
