    NYPD has stinger missiles?

    NEW YORK (AP) — The chief of the New York Police Department says city police could take down a plane if necessary.

    So what can take down a plane? They don't have fighter air craft or AA emplacements, so I guess man carried anti-air missiles? And who is authorizing the strike?!?! Crazy stuff.

      It's been discussed here and there, but basically they plan to stick a Barrett M82 or M107 .50 of some kind in a helicopter and chase it down...
      This business will get out of control. It will get out of control and we'll be lucky to live through it.
