I need a safe moved 40 feet

I need a safe moved 40 feet. It needs to go up one stair, roll 20 feet and then go up a 2nd stair(only one step). I am in North Hollywood.
Anyone know a place in this area that I can hire someone???

Call Dean safes, they are in i think Sylmar or Sundland. I am sure they can recommend someone local.

I wouldn't hire anyone that I don't know well to move my safe, get an appliance dolly and a buddy.

You can rent a dolly. Up stairs you may want a couple of buddies.

LEVERAGE...You can do it with a friend.

I moved a safe up a flight of stairs with a buddy using a dolly like the one above...If you don't want to buy it you might be able to rent it at Home Depot.

or

Find a kid with a skateboard or furnature dolly/cart...tilt safe, slide skateboard underneath, balance safe on skateboard and roll it to step...Slide safe onto step, preferably on a moving blanket...tilt safe onto skateboard again and roll to final position...slide off and bold to foundation.

I've moved many heavy item this way...skateboards are for more than riding

You'd be amazed at how much weight you can move with a few wood dowels or pieces of PVC pipe. Just tilt the safe and start putting the rollers under it. Move the safe until a roller comes out the back and put it back in front again. Repeat as needed.

How much does your safe weigh?

They can be 200 lbs or 2000 lbs, big difference.

That is how I moved it from my garage to my side door. The problem is lifting it straight up the step. It weighs 600 pounds and is 40 inches wide.
