Unless aged memory fails, I took my class with Jim Amentler on June 3rd, and mailed my application June 6th. I finally received my card yesterday. That's 131 days by my count.

Another update, I don't remember the exact date I took my class, but my credit card was charged July 14th. I recieved my permit today Oct 26 thats about 98 days.If you are not outraged you are not paying attention!!!
Originally posted by roostersgtYou need to be a cop with lots of experience to keep children safe on a school campus. CCW holders, gardeners and yes, trainmen, do not posses the experience, training or expertise in responding to an event such as Sandy. That you can't grasp that is lost on me. Perhaps that's why you're better suited in your present employment. You don't understand what it means to provide for the publics safety. You just don't know. -
Good to hear! Since Utah hired more personnel just to process applications they are getting much closer to the state mandated 60 days in which to approve or deny. They are processing apps received July 19, 2007 at this time.V/R,
Jim "Doc" Amentler
