I just found a new "Craigslist" type site for GUNS!

I came across this site a few minutes ago. It is called Calgunlist. The info says it if only for California legal guns. It looks and feels just like Craigslist. The only things posted on it right now are from Fresno, so I bet the owner of the site is the first poster and from Fresno, Ca. What do you guys think? Will this take off and be competition to our Calguns Marketplace?

        Cool.
Now there's a Winchester Model 12 up for sale in Redding. I'll be interested to see where this goes.

This is an example of what CG.net needs to do with the market place. There is a lot left to be desired here.

No affiliation with Calguns.net or CGF?

I sense a cease and desist letter coming. They should have been more original with their name.

I was using Armslist.com same kinda deal. It's a lot bigger in Ohio (my home state) Makes me P.O. to see all the deals back home though. Only a few post here and there in CA.

So does anybody know Matt Soghoian? He's got the domain registered. I'd be interested in knowing if he's on CG.

Any way to verify who is running this site?

I wouldn't want to support anything that Ben Cannon had a hand in, and it seems like the kind of thing he'd start.

ETA: OK... Thanks Cranium. You was postin' while I was writin'.

I can see that site taking off if they marketed it right.

I have a feeling a lot of people here hope it will take off, thanks for sharing. CGN classifieds have been a love-or-hate issue for a lot of people, both users and moderators.
